We drink water, but do we have enough of it?
Whilst exercising it is a key to stay hydrated before during and after and beyond!
It can be a struggle to drink it in the colder months but there are other options of getting your water intake up if you don’t want the cold version all of the time.
Try hot water, slice of lemon, slice of ginger and/or herbal fruit teas, so many options out there now and with no caffeine in if you want a drink at night without keeping you awake.
For the summer months, simply let the hot herbal teas cool if you don’t want plain water all the time.
Or you can make a big jug of water, add mint leaves, lemon, cucumber and drink throughout the day.
Eat your water…
Vegetables like spinach, celery, cucumber, tomatoes.
Fruit examples, apples, strawberries, blueberries, watermelons.
Whatever you do, just stay hydrated, not just when we’re in the summer months or when you’re working out and remember it’s good for so many other reasons like getting rid of toxins, digestion, circulation, regulating body temperature and so much more!
It’s just as important to fuel your body with water as it is food
