Some events mean a little more than simply getting dressed up and enjoying a good night out – and this is one of them.
I’m incredibly proud to be organising a Black Tie Charity Evening in support of the Motor Neurone Disease Association, taking place on Saturday 3rd October 2026 at The Ivy Country Hotel, Oulton Broad, Suffolk.
Bringing together friends, local businesses, clients, supporters and the wider community, it promises to be a truly special night – with welcome drinks on arrival, a three-course dinner, live entertainment, a fundraising auction and charity raffle, all in aid of an incredibly important cause.
Why MND?
This cause is deeply personal to me. I lost a family member to Motor Neurone Disease some years ago, and it’s a loss that has never left me. Organising this evening felt like the right way to do something meaningful in their memory – and for the thousands of others affected by this devastating condition across the UK.
Continued fundraising and awareness are vital in helping provide support, care, research and hope for those living with MND and the families beside them. This event is about more than fundraising – it’s about community, compassion, and people coming together to make a genuine difference, while creating a night that feels uplifting and memorable for everyone in the room.

Supporting the Event
I’ve been genuinely overwhelmed by the support already shown – from friends and clients to local businesses who have offered their time, donations and encouragement. Events like this simply don’t happen without the kindness of others, and I’m so grateful.
There are several ways to get involved:
- Prize donations for the raffle and auction
- Sponsorship opportunities
- Attending on the night
- Helping spread the word
Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a real difference.
Looking Ahead
More details on tickets, the auction and everything in between will be shared here and across my socials very soon. In the meantime, if you’d like to get involved, donate a prize or discuss sponsorship, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Thank you to everyone who has already shown their support. Your generosity and belief in this evening means more than I can say.
Here’s to an incredible evening – 3rd October 2026.
Lisa
